Ann Clifford Named Finalist for Women and Hi Tech 2008 Leading Light Awards
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 24, 2008) – (INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – Safari Solutions, a nine-year-old Indianapolis based HR recruitment consulting company, announced today company founder, Ann Clifford was recognized a one of the finalist in the risk taker category for the prestigious Women and Hi Tech 2008 Leading Light Awards. This biannual award program recognizes women of achievement in science and technology who have set an example to others by demonstrating expertise, professionalism, leadership, service, courage and tenacity in pursuing their chosen career.

Ann Clifford was recognized as a finalist in the “Risk-Taker” category by women in the Hi-Tech, 2008 Leading Light Awards on Thursday, January 24th, 2008. The banquet was held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom with more than 300 people in attendance, primarily women in the science and technology industry. Clifford was recognized for the development of TargetPort, a cutting-edge career site management software application for small businesses.

About Ann Clifford: Ann Clifford graduated from Indiana University with a BS in accounting. She worked for Price Waterhouse and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) before beginning the first of several entrepreneurial ventures in 1987. Active in the local business community, she is a member of TechPoint, Venture Club of Indiana, National Association of Women Business Owners, Network of Women in Business, and CEO Focus.
